                              Characters are an important element of any narrative and the main focus of the narrative goes around the characters life's.  The decisions characters make during the course of the narrative  is what forces the plot of the story to move. Character decisions are just like the decisions we make in our life's which impact us and the people around us.
  • The main character  is the individual who participates the most in the story  and who's actions play an important role in the story. . 
                         Types of main characters :

                                          Protagonist- main character in the story, also known as the good guy.

                                          Antagonist-  is the character who is against the protagonist, also known as the bad guy.

  • The minor character are does who do not change in the course of the story and they participate less in the story.
  • Round Characters- are the characters that  undergoes change and is able to grow in the story
  • Flat Characters- are the characters who don't undergo mayor change in the story.

  •  Read the blog post related to Types of Characters in a story.
  • Read the  story : " The window" by Harry Bushman.
  • Answer the following questions:     


   1.  What is the story " The window"  about  ?

   2. Who are the main characters ?

   3. Who are the minor characters?    
  
   4. What kind of person was the man who's bed was next to the window  

   5. What caused the man who  spend all his time flat on his back to act the way he did ?      


  • Write a short essay on  how you would change the ending of the story.
